• Students need to know the names of the parts of the instrument before you can teach them how to use it
• Students should memorize these items and be able to identify them in 30 seconds or less
• It is recommended to memorize parts of the bow from tip to frog.


• It is recommended to memorize the parts of each instrument from top to bottom.
